The richly detailed floral border is hand-painted in deep cobalt hues, reminiscent of traditional Dutch painting. In addition, imprints of real flowers, dipped in paint and applied directly to the porcelain, flow seamlessly—a technique that allows nature itself to paint along with the rest of the pieces.
