This stunning porcelain ‘Eclips’ vase is entirely hand-painted in a modern Delft blue style. Its name derives from its round silhouette: when viewed head-on, a semi-circular cutout reveals itself, evoking the effect of a solar eclipse in its early stages.
The decoration is a classic Delft blue composition. On both sides of the vase, a lush paradise bird takes center stage, surrounded by an intricate pattern of flowers and foliage that covers the entire surface. The short side panels form an elegant white band encircling the vase, adding a refined and structured visual rhythm to the richly detailed design.
