1. Two-Day Delft Blue Masterclass at

Het Amsterdams Kleibedrijf

During this intensive two-day masterclass, STUDIO PLAISIER invites participants into the world of traditional Delft Blue painting. Together, we will explore the fundamentals step by step, focusing on brush techniques, composition, decorative design, and the process of building a harmonious Delft Blue decoration.

Alongside mastering the traditional techniques, there is plenty of room for personal development and creative experimentation. The goal is not only to pass on centuries-old craftsmanship but also to help participants discover and develop their own artistic voice within this unique tradition.

For lovers of craftsmanship, art, and design, STUDIO PLAISIER is also hosting an exclusive one-day masterclass at the studio of Ineke van der Werff in Utrecht.

Throughout the day, you will learn how to apply the traditional painting techniques of Delft Blue to porcelain. From developing your initial design and sketch to mastering brushwork and building your decoration, you'll experience every step of the creative process. At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with your own hand-painted porcelain piece, which will be professionally glazed and fired afterwards.
